Hurricane High School is excited to announce Coach Daniel Cox as the new Head Coach of the Girls Soccer program. Coach Cox brings nearly 25 years of experience in the game as a player, coach, and mentor, with coaching roles spanning club soccer, high school programs, and college club teams. He holds a C License through the Utah Youth Soccer Association, reflecting advanced training in player development, team tactics, and long-term program building, and is qualified to continue progression toward higher national licensure. Much of Coach Cox’s background has focused on developing new and growing teams, building strong foundations, emphasizing technical and tactical growth, and establishing team cultures rooted in accountability, effort, and love for the game. A southern Utah native, Coach Cox lives in the community with his wife and three children and is deeply invested in supporting student-athletes on and off the field. He looks forward to building a competitive, sustainable girls soccer program that players, families, and the Hurricane community can be proud of. Welcome Coach Cox to the Tiger Army!
