It’s time again to start working on your HONOR “H”. At HHS we believe that extra-curricular activities not only improve your high school experience, but make you a more well-rounded person. The HONOR “H” Award honors students who have been highly involved in these activities with an HONOR “H” Pin their Senior year. The trick is, you must submit your list of extra-curricular activities EVERY YEAR. Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores pick up the HONOR “H” applications today in the main office and fill out all of your activities for the year. Applications must be returned to the Library or Mr. McKeehan by Monday, May 3rd. Seniors and Juniors, if you have not completed HONOR “H” applications in the past, you can still submit, but only for activities you have been involved in THIS YEAR.
Ballroom tryouts are coming up! Next year’s Juniors & Seniors will learn the dances on April today & tomorrow from 3:00-5:00. Next year’s Sophomores will learn the dances on April 17th & 18th from 3:00-5:00. Tryouts will be April 19th. Don’t miss it! The ballroom team is a blast!
Grad Night tickets are on sale at the box office. If you’ve bought a ticket or buy one soon, you will be entered into a drawing for a $20 Maverick gift card. The first winner is: Taylee Martinez.
Sophomores: If you are interested in becoming a class officer, pick up a packet in the main office. Applications are due to Mrs. Eves by April 22nd.
Congratulations to HOSA. At their state competition this past weekend the CERT team took 2nd place at state and qualified for nationals!
HOSA will be hosting a blood drive next Monday. Representatives will be in the commons area all week for sign-ups & gathering permission slips. Help out and donate blood!
Tonight’s Girls’ Lacrosse game is SENIOR NIGHT. Everyone come out and support. 7:30 on the football field.
