Robinson’s Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Hurricane Tigers Varsity Victory Over Kanab

Hurricane Tigers Varsity took Tuesday’s game in dramatic fashion, with an 8-7 walk-off victory over Kanab. The game was tied at seven with Hurricane Tigers Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Casey Robinson drew a walk, scoring one run.
Kanab scored five runs in the fourth inning, but Hurricane Tigers Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. Kanab batters contributing to the big inning included Ryan East, Kale Glover, Maddix Baird, Griff Bone, and Jaden Holder, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Hurricane Tigers Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning. Robinson drew a walk, scoring one run.
Hurricane Tigers Varsity knotted the game up at seven in the bottom of the sixth inning, when Levi Leavitt singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Hurricane Tigers Varsity tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Hurricane Tigers Varsity’s offense in the inning came from walks by Asher Christensen, Robinson, and Luke Hirschi.
Robinson was on the pitcher’s mound for Hurricane Tigers Varsity. The bulldog went three and a third innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out nine.
Bone toed the rubber for Kanab. Bone went one and one-third innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out three. #14 and Brody Perkins entered the game as relief, throwing three and a third innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.
Hurricane Tigers Varsity racked up eight hits on the day. Leavitt, Sam Johanson, and Grant Scholzen all managed multiple hits for Hurricane Tigers Varsity. Scholzen, Johanson, and Leavitt each managed two hits to lead Hurricane Tigers Varsity.
