Hello everyone,
Two weeks ago Heather Huntsman resigned from her position as the Hurricane High school Cheer Head Coach. Her leadership has made a tremendous impact on our school and cheer program. Through her hard work, passion, and commitment, she helped stabilized and strengthened the program while creating a positive culture built on accountability, teamwork, and pride. She will definitely be missed.
This week we interviewed three good candidates and from those candidates we selected Kim Arnold as the new head coach to lead our Cheer program. Kim has experience coaching cheer and led Brighton HS to a state championship when she coached. She brings extensive knowledge about the sport and is passionate to move the program forward with a culture of high standards, accountability and connections with her student athletes. Please welcome Kim to her new position.
