As this year is the 250 year anniversary of the United States, the state of Utah is kicking off a contest with scholarships for essays and artwork. Please share this with your classes:

Help celebrate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary! All Utah students in Grades 5th, 8th and 9th–12th are invited to enter the America250 Utah Essay and Art Contest. This is a fantastic chance for students to showcase their creativity and civic pride.

Categories: Original Essay or Original Artwork.
Prizes: Winners will receive scholarships and have their work featured at the Utah State Capitol!
Notification: Winners and finalists will be notified in June 2026 via the parent email address provided.
Note: Students under 18 should complete the form with a parent or guardian.
