2024-25 Cross Country Results

XC results Tues 9/3 and Sat 9/7

Tuesday, September 3rd – some of the Hurricane cross country team ran at the Dixie All Comers race.
Sophia Robinson finished 1st. And Kaia Goulding was 10th.

Saturday, September 7 – the team competed at the Larry Burgess Las Vegas Invitational. This race had over 1200 runners and the top 25 individuals in each race place.

The first race of the day was the Varsity Girls small schools. Your lady tigers team finished 2nd, with Arya Armstrong 2nd, Sophia Robinson 5th, Tatiana Melton 6th, Grace Anderson 8th, Emily Lundstrom 10th, Kaia Goulding 12th, and Lillian Welsh 24th.

The second race of the day was the Varsity Boys small schools. You Boys team took 1st place. Jarren Ence was 5th, Abraham Amy 6th, Karter Holt 8th, Liam Armstrong 10th, Jorel Nugent 17th, Issac Thorton 21st, and Trecen Holland 23rd.

Our Freshman/Sophomore Girls had Talia Taggart 10th, Mersaides Gubler 12th, Tristan Cowan 14th, Jayde Bringhurst 16th, and Savannah Powell 23rd.

The Freshman/Sophomore Boys had Ethan Elkington 2nd, Calder Lundstrom 12th, Silas Blair 15th, and Elijah Lewis 19th

The JV Girls (Varsity B) had McKay Campbell 11th, and Joclyn Breiter 15th.

The JV Boys (Varsity B) finished 2nd overall with Landon Christiansen 2nd, Gavin Burton 3rd, Michael Colby 8th, Dax Hirschi 9th, Abraham Stewart 12th, Aaron Meng 15th, Mordecai Fietkau 16th, Wyatt Drawe 17th, and Beauchene Heaton 22nd. (Lincoln Eves just missed the top 25).
