Cross Country team qualifies for state meet
Congratulations to the Boys’ Cross Country team for qualifying for the state meet – finishing 5th in the divisional state qualifying meet.
The boys were led by Liam Armstrong who finished 4th in Division A and 9th overall . The Hurricane boys’ state team is Liam Armstrong, Karter Holt, Treson Holland, Issac Thornton, Trevor Wilcock, Malcom Spendlove, Ethan Elkington, and Oliver Klein as the alternate. They will be running at the state meet on Tuesday, October 28th.
Congratulations to the Girls’ Cross Country team for qualifying for the state meet – finishing 8th in the divisional state qualifying meet.
The girls were led by Arya Armstrong who finished 3rd in the Division B and 6th overall. The Hurricane girls’ team is Arya Armstrong, Tatiana Melton, Grace Anderson, Jayde Bringhurst, Julia LeBaron, Emily Lisonbee, Talia Taggart, and Mersaides Gubler as the alternate. They will also be running in the state meet on Tuesday, October 28th.
