Hurricane High School Athletes of the Week
Recognizing this week’s standout “Tigers” for their outstanding performances, leadership, and dedication on and off the field. These athletes have gone above and beyond to represent Hurricane High with pride:

Aspen Boucher. – Athlete of the Week is Aspen Boucher. Coach Rose says he chose Aspen because the way she shows up for her team every day. She is a true team-first player who trusts her coaches, understands her role, and brings consistent effort on both ends of the floor. Whether it’s running the floor, rebounding, defending, or doing the little things that don’t always show up in the box score, Aspen does whatever the team needs to compete against tough opponents. Her selflessness, coachability, and commitment to the process make everyone around her better. WOW! Good work Aspen! Thanks

Lincoln Oringdulph. – Athlete of the Week This week we are shining the spotlight on our debate team. Coach Walters chose Lincoln Oringdulph. Lincoln has been excelling and has already has several first place finishes this season! Incredible work Lincoln!

Graci Fox. – Athlete of the Week back in October. Graci is an outside hitter for our volleyball team with nearly 200 kills on the season. Graci is a leader and works hard to succeed in our program. Good job Graci!

Jaxon Winegar. – Athlete of the Week last week for his lock down defense. Jaxon had 9 tackles including a big tackle for a loss of yards. For years Jaxon’s name has come up when talking about our defensive efforts. No matter what position he’s in, Jaxon finds the guy to tackle. Good job Jaxon! Thanks to our sponsors!

Titan Wright. – Athlete of the Week for his outstanding efforts on the OLine. Stats don’t show everything that happens in the trenches, and this guy puts in the work anyway. Titan can block, pull, and make the gaps for big yards. We’ve loved watching this guy for years. Congrats Titan! s

Austyn McRoberts. – Athlete of the Week is Austyn McRoberts… Austyn is one of the captains and had a killer offense against Highland with nearly 200 total yards. Austyn always works hard and he is a true leader. Congrats! Thanks

Eliza Watts. – Athlete of the Week from Volleyball is Eliza Watts! In the Toole game, she led us with 3 aces and had the highest passing percentage on the team. Eliza always brings a ton of energy to the court and is a great leader for our team! Congrats Eliza! ThanksÂ

Tatiana Melton.. – Athlete of the Week! This weeks Mountain Mike’s Athlete of the Week. Tatiana is a senior and a 3-year varsity runner and 3-year state qualifier. Her times have consistently improved through her tenure. Congrats Tatiana!

Drake Gines. – Athlete of the Week! Drake is a defensive monster and an incredible leader. If you miss his play, don’t worry, he’s about to make another one. We love watching and cheering for Mr Gines. Congrats Drake!

Payten Richardson – This weeks Mountain Mikes Athlete of the Week is Payten Richardson. Payten is dedicated and has the best attitude. Payten is an amazing tumbler and an all around great athlete on and off the mat. Congrats Payten! Thank you

Titan Borchardt. – FOOTBALL –Athlete of the Week – Titan had not 1, not 2, but 3 interceptions! He also had nearly 100 yards to help out our team. Good job Lil Borch!

Delaney Tebbs. – Tennis – Athlete of the Week – Tennis takes focus, strategy, and grit—and she brings all three. We’re proud to have Delaney representing HHS this season—way to go!Â

 Brody Jacobs. – Football – Athlete of the Week. Brody was dominate in yards both rushing and receiving with nearly 150 yards. He wouldn’t back down and fought for every yard he got. Good jobs Brody!

 Grady Esplin – Golf – Athlete of the Week. Grady Esplin, our Athlete of the Week for Golf. Grady has always been a natural athlete and has just leveled up this year in golf and makes our team strong. Congrats Grady!

Naveah Estrada is our Neveah Estrada is our Athlete of the week from our Cheer Team. Coach Heather says “Neveah is one of the hardest workers and an amazing cheerleader and representative of Hurricane High School. She is a humble and extremely talented athlete. She wants her entire team to succeed and is a natural leader.“ Congratulations Neveah

Berkely Seymour– Volleyball–Athlete of the week for Volleyball! Her coach says “ Berkely has been a great leader for our team and has been blocking really well! She is always a bright spot on and off the court.” congrats Berkely

Karter Holt – cross country – Athlete of the Week – Â Karter has been a great runner FOREVER and now leads his team both in time and heart. Good job Karter!

Grace Anderson – Cross Country –Athlete of the Week! Grace Anderson’s hard work and dedication during XC season has helped build a strong foundation for her love of sprinting on the track. This kind hearted – SPEED QUEEN is taking on senior year like a BOSS! Way to go Grace

McCoy Davis – Soccer – Congrats to McCoy Davis from our girls soccer team and leads in steals…DEFENSE QUEEN! Good job

Tanner Matua – Football –Athlete of the Week. Tanner serves pancakes all day on the O-line and a wrecking ball on the D-line. Congrats Tanner. Well deserved.
